Hmmm… I was reading my Friends Page before I went to update, and so I was aware of the hew and cry (is that hue and cry?) about the new update page…
I was expecting a disaster.
But I’m actually quite pleased. This re-design works well for me. (I suspect that people would not have been as out of sorts, though, if LJ had given them the *option* of selecting the new design…)

I actually think the new page is cleaner and easier to use. I guess there are people who will always resist change.
I like being able to pull up thumbnails of all my icons. When you have close to 100, it’s easy to forget what you have.
Some of the most interesting people I know are either librarians or former librarians. Although I suppose that could be because I’m a former librarian myself. I think we should form the FLA– the Former Librarians of America!
I always seem to have an endless TBR pile, too. I don’t track it in any way, because I’m just not that organized. *g* And then there’s the new! shiny! books that trump the ones that have been paitiently waiting for me to get to them.
