::grin:: Thanks for the kind words!

A new Jane Madison novel will be out on August 13 - SINGLE WITCH'S SURVIVAL GUIDE. Down the line, I have two more Jane novels planned.

I'm also going to write two more novels in the FRIGHT COURT series. And, probably, another novella or two... So many projects! So little time!

Robert - I'm slow to reply because I've been neck-deep in manuscript drafting. Sorry!

"Your" London sounds lovely. The next time I make it to the city, I'll definitely reach out to you for advice!

My wife & I are both born & bred Londoners, but, despite 41 married years exploring it, we have barely scratched the surface of this fantastic city with nearly 2000 years of visible history to admire.
In addition to the centre, an hour or so from the centre means you can get into the historic orchards that supplied mediaeval London with food and fruit, and eat at 15/16th century inns - one we know well is a 16th century inn with own brewery, on a village green beside a church with a tower dating back to the middle of the 9th century.
If you want to drop me an email next time you are both planning a trip to London, we would be happy to show you some of the just - outside London attractions!

Carmen - We stayed at the Doubletree by Hilton, Westminster. (It used to be the Mint Hotel.) It was a bit pricey, but gave us everything we wanted -- quiet, a king-size room (after a free upgrade!), a lovely full breakfast every morning, wi-fi, etc. I'll probably make another post later, with details about restaurants, etc.

Dottie - Thanks for the kind words! Yep - we crammed a lot into one week. I'd love to go back for a month!

That sounds so cool! Did you like the hotel? Which one was it?

You packed a lot into one week. Charlie and I are hoping to go to London next year, so I will make a note to be sure to try to find Eaton Mess on the mene (it sounds yummy!).

There are at least two instances where authors were accused of plagiarism by fanfic authors -- Marion Zimmer Bradley and Chelsea Quinn Yarbro both had (in)famous legal proceedings that were ultimately settled out of court. Yarbro, at least, reported that she lost a television or movie deal because of the confusion.

I understand authors not accepting (in a formal fashion) plot recommendations. The situation is similar to the companies that publish board games, which will not review game submissions from outside designers, lest they be accused of infringing those designers' work when they sell games that were developed in-house.
