Girl’s Guide to Bookbub

Today, I’m exploring an exciting new promotional opportunity for GIRL’S GUIDE TO WITCHCRAFT, the first volume in my Jane Madison series.  The short version, for those of you in a rush:  Buy GIRL’S GUIDE today, at any of the links set forth below, for the lowest price ever — $0.99.

What’s this sale all about?  GIRL’S GUIDE is being advertised through Bookbub, an “advertorial” service.  The idea is pretty simple:

1.  People subscribe to newsfeeds at, selecting their favorite genres.

2.  Every day, Bookbub sends out an email to its subscribers, highlighting one or more books on sale (including some books for free) in those genres.

3.  Subscribers can buy (but are under no obligation to buy) the books at greatly reduced prices.

Subscribers don’t pay anything for the service.

Authors pay to have their books announced via Bookbub, in hopes of making many sales.  (Some authors have made enough sales in one week to land on the New York Times bestseller list!)

Bookbub is pretty selective about which books it advertises.  It only lists those books that it considers to be professionally published (including professional covers and layout), with sufficient reviews to indicate an actual or potential bestseller.

So, today is GIRL’S GUIDE TO WITCHCRAFT’s day.  The book is discounted to $0.99 in all of its sales venues — for a limited time only.  If you haven’t bought GIRL’S GUIDE in the past, now’s your chance to read it, practically for free!

And you don’t have to click through Bookbub, if you aren’t already a subscriber — you can use any of these links:

Amazon Kindle | Apple | B&N Nook | Book View Cafe | Kobo | Smashwords

So?  What are you waiting for?  Buy GIRL’S GUIDE TO WITCHCRAFT today!  (And feel free to share this message with friends — this deal won’t last forever!)

  1. I just tweeted it – such a great deal!

    • Christi – Many, many thanks! (I was out for most of today, so I’m just coming home to find so much wonderful support from friends like you!)

  2. I really like BookBub because it lets subscribers pick not only the retail outlets they want to follow but the genre of books. And their promotions work! I would pick up Girl’s Guide except I already have it! It’s a fun book!

    • Carmen – So far, I’m really impressed with BookBub. They don’t guarantee results, but they certainly have delivered in my case. (At #268 overall on Amazon now — I hope it gets a bit closer to #1!)
