PERFECT PITCH – Advance Reader Copies Available
So, most of you know that I’ve been playing baseball all winter — baseball and romance, in a super-steamy combination that will hit bookstores on Opening Day of the 2013 baseball season (that’s, um, March 31, for those of you who don’t live and die by the baseball calendar.)
The series of nine books is called the Diamond Bride Series. The first novel will be PERFECT PITCH. Here’s the cover:
And here’s the text on the back of the book:
Reigning beauty queen Samantha Winger is launching her pet project, a music program for kids. All she has to do is follow the pageant’s rules—no smoking, drinking, or “cavorting” in public.
That’s fine, until D.J. Thomas—God’s gift to baseball—throws her a wild pitch. He slams her in an interview, and the video goes viral. Sam’s no shrinking violet. She parlays D.J.’s apology into a national T.V. appearance—and a very unexpected, very public kiss.
Soon, paparazzi catch the couple in a steamy make-out session, and Sam’s music program is on the block. The blazing hot relationship is threatened even more when D.J.’s son begs to trade in Little League for music class.
Can Sam and D.J. sizzle past the sour notes and find their perfect pitch?
Usually, publishers make “Advance Readers Copies” (also known as ARCs) available to a handful of reviewers before a book comes out. In conjunction with Book View Cafe, the publisher of the Diamond Brides series, I’m making 150 — yes one hundred and fifty! — ARCs available to readers. Want one? Here’s what you do:
- Go to http://www.librarything.com/er/list and scroll waaaaaay down the list (or search for my name), until you get to PERFECT PITCH.
- Click on the giant yellow link that says “Request this Book”.
- Complete the steps required by Library Thing.
- Cross your fingers and hope that you’re one of the lucky winners of an ARC. If you are, wait until you receive the ARC, read it, and share your honest opinion about it with friends, family, and other readers of hot contemporary romance. (I’d be especially grateful if you shared those honest opinions on sites like Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Goodreads, because reviews really *do* make a difference in my ability to promote my work.)
That’s it! Good luck in the random drawing — and I hope you love PERFECT PITCH as much as I’m loving writing the series!
